Hurrrraawwwyyy it's the last day of the basic patisserie!!! I've done it! after 10 weeks of 5:45am wakeup time, I've passed Basic!!! yeah yeah!!Here's the group photo with 3chefs! They are from Switzerland, Australia & Sweden! We had a potluck lunch yesterday and we went for sushi for celebration after exam! we learnt Butter cream gateaux, 2 kind of cheesecake in this final week. see u guys in HK tomolo!

rush it RUSH!
Had exam this week. Needa finish these stuff in 4 hours. Damn, shouldn't be walking around and sipping coffee while waiting for the mixer.. damn... i didn't have enough time to pipe the creme pat in the eclairs, so on the 2nd day, I becam smart, I finished my products 2 minutes b4 deadline (ya 2 minutes!!!) my palmiers got the highest mark among all...hopefully it'll even up my mark...thanks got it's all over.........

Good Morning! B'fast anybody?!?!
WOW, more bread this week. Plaited Bread, Almond Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, Cheese & Bacon Croissant, Brioche. It was Peisia's bday last sat, she throw a buffet party at home. we had lots champagne, red, white, food+++ and of coz we didn't miss the myer's sale! I got new members for my receipe collections HAHHA

Fruits!
It was a dessert week. we learnt from Poached apple with orange, Tarte tartin, Fruit Jelly (obviously not those we used to make when we were kids! hehe), Poached apple with fillings, Creme Brulee to Almond & orange segment.
It'd been raining cats & dogs in sydney, the wharf sank, bridge collapsed, power failure, peoplegone missing, cars floating around... so I decided to "swim" back to melb.

sore arms
It was a puff pastry week, I learn Scotish, French & English puff pastry! been back to melb every weekend recently since ah sze was back and i have to get myself prepared for the exam which is coming soon!!! oh ya, I'll be back to HK in july for the term break!!!
